We're keeping the tradition of the Irish pub alive with every pint we pour. Built in the late 1930's where Kelly's Irish Pub is today was an establishment called the "Around the Corner bar."
It only lasted a few years before the O'Hagan family bought it and opend O'Hagan's Irish Pub. In 1977 Jim Kelly purchased the bar from the O'Hagan family and changed the name to Kelly's Irish Pub.
When Jim Kelly reiterd in 2012 he sold the bar to some locak guys who had been mainstay customers of his for years. Brothers Dan & Dennis Helka, along with their lifelong friend, Jon Carone updated and remodeled the bar, but kept the name Kelly's Irish Pub.
With that they wanted to keep the tradition of it being a local neighborhood pub with good food and a friendly staff. You've actually stumbled up on the best of old and new, all under one roof.
